Honoring Black History
Learn more about black history from four talented individuals as they share stories via the visual arts, genealogy, local historical research and ongoing advocacy for equity. This Sunday, Feb 1st at 2:00pm, we welcome Kimberly Love Radcliffe – sharing Black history through quilts, stories and poetry, as well as an extraordinary collection of dolls representing moments throughout cultures and history. All are welcome to attend.
MLK Scholarship Special Offering will take place during February. Stop by the table during coffee hour to donate in support of the Educational Scholarship Trust Fund, or give online below.
Faith in Action is proud to host a special forum with Dr. Sarah Clunis Sunday September 7 beginning at 2:00pm in the Sanctuary. Dr. Sarah Clunis from the Amistad Center for Art & Culture will give a special presentation that celebrates and preserves the rich heritage and culture of people of African descent. We are grateful for Justine and Verna who have put together this event.
