Basics:
Who: Youth currently in grades 8-12.
What: Mission trip through YouthWorks.
Where: Chicago, Illinois.
When: June 22nd-30th, 2012. We will leave on the 22nd, see some of Chicago on the 23rd,
go to church and then to our housing site on the 24th. Mission work takes place the 25th-29th,
and we will return home by the 30th.
Why: To love our neighbors in Chicago through words and actions, and to make a difference in the world!
How: Working in children's programs, Thrift Shops, Food Pantries, or wherever else we might be called to help others.
How Much: $350/person, estimated cost. This includes our registration with YouthWorks, as well as
transportation, some meals and other trip-related expenses. Actual cost may vary, depending on what we decide to do.

ASAP: $60 non-refundable deposit to secure each slot on the trip
Nov. 29: Initial Fundraising and organizational meeting, 7 PM Fellowship Room
Mar. 18: 1/2 Balance Due
May 6: Remaining Balance Due
June 22: Leave for Chicago

Registration Information:
We have reserved 20 slots which are available on a first-come, first-served basis,
so if you want to go, sign up ASAP! To register, please submit a $60 non-refundable
deposit (see "Fine Print" below) for each participant to Russ Kirby at the church.
Please make your checks payable to "Niantic Community Church" and write in the memo:
"Senior Youth Mission Trip" to ensure it is credited correctly. We will be sending
you further information as we receive it from YouthWorks.
The Fine Print: 20 slots-including 4 adults-are available on a first-come,
first-served basis. After all slots are filled, we will start a waiting list.
While the $60 deposit is not refundable, persons on the waiting list can "buy
out" someone's deposit and additional monies paid should a person going on the
trip decide not to go.
